terrified of another attack

 For the last 24 hours I have suffered 3 auras, 2 severe migraines, and one extremely debilitating with repeated vomiting, and pain as intense as labor pains and kidney stone pains combined. All three times I started getting the auras I took Ibuprofen(up to 800mg) and when that failed tylenol with it but nothing helped except rest. I'm still nauseous and I can feel another crippling one comming on within the next couple of hours. I'm am terrified of going through that pain again. Should I see a doctor tonight if another crippling one sets in and if not can I wait the weekend or should I still see one right away?

I'm sorry Stacy that you didn't get any replies. Sometimes the weekends can be slow around here. How are you feeling today? I hope you are getting some relief from the pain. I would say you should definitly see your doctor, maybe they can get you on some kind of preventive med and something for a rescue when you do get a migraine. Have you had migraines for awhile? I hope you come back to the forum, I am sure some of the regulars will be around then. Take care and I hope you are feeling better.

So sorry all of you deal with these terrible headaches. I have chronic daily migraines and the neurologist has yet to find a medication that has given me any relief. Imagine dealing with migraines on a daily basis. It has effected not only me but my family. So many things I can't do or feel like doing. Right now I take lamictal ~ for seizure control, zanaflex, firociet, phenagran, klonipan and vitamins. I have also had brain surgery for a seizure disorder, the surgery was sucessful. Now to get rid of these daily migraines. Thank the good Lord for His strength or else I'd never get through this.
