I take 100mg topamax daily, and I did have this experience at first too...mainly at night when I was laying down. After a couple months it did go away, along with some of the other side effects.
I agree with the above poster on the aloe (although you can also get this in a health food store if that's more convenient for you). Also, if you avoid certain items in your diet it can help...i.e citrus (which is a migraine trigger anyhow), caffeine, alcohol, spicy foods, and high fat meals might help.
