not a spinal fluid leak...

Hi everyone! How are you doing? I figure I would update you, it's not a spinal fluid leak...but a problem with my cervical spine. I mentioned the cervical spine thing before, well it's more serious than we thought. Apparently, it's affecting the flow of my spinal fluid-not enough to show up on an mri, but enough to hurt me -constantly...I've had an epidural injection and felt great while the numbing med was in there. As it wore off, my arms/left face went numb and noticed blurred vision with being upright. Went to the ER of course, repeated mri's for comparison-all the same. Got a soft collar and pain meds and have been referred to neurosurgeon for neck surgery related to: C5-C6 stenosis/posterior spinal cord compression/bulging disc and C4,5,6 nerve root block....yeah me! Lol I will also be completeely dependent on SSI income/food stamps/cash assist/medical card starting the end of this week-lost the new job..still on probation. Sooo, apparently there is a plan that God has for me but I don't see it clearly at this time, guess I need to bepatient..thansk for all the support and I'll keep you posted! Amy
