For the past 5-6 weeks I have been dealing with multiple symptoms of headache related issues, and I am starting to get seriously worried. I am getting ready to leave for air force special ops training, and this is the only thing stopping me. My symptoms first started with mild neck pain, and throbbing in the back of my head. That has now went away, and it has been a constant dull pressure in my head.. more focused on the back of my head, then front. I can also feel my pulse 24/7 everyday in my head as well. Also with a little pressure in the front of my head, around my nasal cavities. 2 years ago I had 2 MRI's one with dye, 1 without and they both came back negative when I had mild headaches which subsided within 2 weeks due to stress from college... After these came upon again I have seen my doctor twice now, and he has scheduled blood tests, which I will be getting later on this week. First he prescribed me with Naproxen, and muscle relaxers... Neither worked. Now he has me on Xanax for the Anxiety due to the stress of all the thoughts running through my head, and Isometh/APAP/Dichlor. The Xanax has helped relax me so much that I forget about
them and they go away, yet whenever I do not take them they come right back. I also have been to a chiropractor a few times, never helped once.
My personal opinion and my doctors is that it is stress/anxiety but I'm looking for other answers.. or ways to make a permanent change to make these stop.
****Most importantly**** I have never had a sharp pain, nausea, vomiting, nor has never effected my sleep patterns. I can still workout, go to work, and go on with my normal day to day activities, yet it is really starting to be a burden having these.
I do not abuse drugs and alcohol, very occasionally smoke marijuana, but have stopped due to my future military career.
I also troubleshooted with foods/dieting and kept a log, nothing added up....
Any and all feedback would be much appreciated as I am doing everything in my power to get rid of these, to leave for training.
