I am with you on trying to stay as "natural" as possible. Are you on a strict Migraine Diet? No tannins, sulfites, tyramines, nitrates?? No processed foods? You have to start with that. I've had migraine for 60 years. Some natural solutions: magnesium supplement (Natural Calm from Natural Vitality - recommended from several others), eat many small meals a day to keep serotonin levels up. I take no meds, although I've tried them. I've seen too many stories from people about
how their problems are escalated with pharmaceuticals. I found food lists at the website for Valley Neurological Headache & Research Center that I follow. There is a good site about
tannins at
www.widowmaker.com. And, of course, regular daily exercise of at least 25 min. There is just no easy solution. It is a systems approach of diligence.
