To all migraine sufferers,
I am a 34 y/o female that is waiting on my disability hearing. I filed a year ago and have been denied so it is at this level now. I am a single mom of 2 kids that worked hard to get my college degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant. My first migraine was at age 21 and have been getting progressively worse which has caused depression due to the chronic pain and the way it has ruined my relationships, work and even friendships. The only person that understands is another migraine sufferer. I worked full-time as long as I cld then had to switch to 32 hrs per week but still ended up calling off once per wk. Went on fmla and used up all my PTO leaving me with no option. My boss and co-workers hated me bc I called off & they even thought I was a liar! This is the stigma attached to migraines bc one cannot "see" it.
I am now on welfare and fighting to not lose my house while waiting for my hearing. I hv tried every treatment under the moon and some days I just want to give up. I pray that I will win my hearing. Please send good thoughts and prayers my way.
I wish you all a migraine free day!
