Hi All
This is my first time posting. I was wondering if there are others out there in a similar situation. I had a stroke in my 20's and another in my 30's. After the second stroke they did a PFO closure and I thought all was fixed. However, couple of weeks ago started having visual disturbances (complicated migraine) and today after a successful bubble study my cardiologist informed me that the studies now show that the PFO closure may not help with decreasing my chances for another stroke. She recommended seeing a neurologist....I have small children and am so scared of having another stroke(Although both were small strokes what if I am not so lucky next time and have a bigger stroke) Anyone out there being treated for complicated migraines inorder to prevent another migraine-stroke?
