so I went to the ER

So today I got fed up with my headache of one week... and I went to the ER.. mostly because I knew they would at least give me an antibiotic. And I already felt silly going in.. but when the nurses are like "so you have a headache" it made me feel so bad... I mean I delivered 2 of my children with no meds by choice.. I'm not a I broke a nail I need a bandaid type of girl.. but they were already looking at me like that..

So i explained my symptoms-- yes I get hormonal headaches.. no I dont think it's that.. no I didn't see floaters.. yes i am under stress.. then the doc looks in my nose and says .. well your sinuses are inflamed.. so it's a sinus infection. We'll do some 5 day antibiotics.

I was sort of hoping for a MRI but whatever.. my head hurts so much I'll take anything.

So 1hour later I'm taking sudafed, aleve and zithro antibiotics.. and I'm optimistic. 1 hour after that I'm passed out on the sofa. 4 hours later, sinus headache gone.. but now it has moved to the back of my head (base of my skull) and I feel like a zombie.

The doc did say that although she could diagnose a sinus infection, she was pretty sure I had other things going on too.. her guess was hormonal imbalance.

I am so discouraged. I just want to feel better. Should i just give the antibiotics a few more days?

I met with my doctor and we are looking into my estrogen levels. The antibiotics did not help =(
