I've been having daily migraines for about a month and a half now. In the last two weeks I've had one day without a migraine. I've switched to wearing sunglasses full-time because the nausea is overwhelming. Sometimes I can't even drive during the day with the sunglasses on.
I'm working with my doctor to try to find an effective medication to replace Topomax, which appeared to be doing little for me. I'm in the early stages of physical therapy as well. Does anybody have advice on things I can do myself to help manage the pain?
My migraines are mild pain wise but the visual disturbances and light sensitivity are killing me. I never have enough abortives to take care of things, and it is exacerbating my other chronic conditions (Crohn's, arthritis, fibromyalgia). I'm starting to feel desperate for relief and pain medication isn't making things noticeably better.
