hubby had one of his worst days ever yesterday!!!!

I am so sorry to hear that sandra. I can't imagine what it is like to have to be the one(s) watching someone suffer with the head pain. My ex (of 4 years) said that he always used to feel so helpless and our relationship was so strained because he never knew what to do and felt like he wanted to help but had no idea what to do and sometimes felt like I wasn't doing all I could because I was trying to "tough it out" (by not running straight to the ER etc) He also got sick and tired of me being sick and tired....he also got tired of the doctors and medications and everything else. Needless to say, we weren't meant to be together. I guess my point to all this is that I am glad you are there and understanding for Andy. I am sure he appreciates it even if he doesn't say it as often as he should....Lord knows I didn't tell him how much I appreciated it at the time. I know I was hard to put up with. (not as hard as he made it out to be!!! ha ha)

I have had some of my worst times lately....I can relate-not sure how much more I can take....and its affect my mood, job etc. Ug!

Hi Mrs mac, sorry that Andy is suffering so much just now, I've had a bad day today and am still sore. I think the most wonderful thing for Andy is that you are there for him loving him through all this even though it is so hard to watch! We are here for you, please let us know how he is, when does he next see the headache specialist? You are both in my prayers, take care Ann

I think I am getting there slowly, my sister is very supportive, but on a day to day basis I just have to get on with it. My Doc has put up the Amitriptyline to 75mg from 50mg - so today I am sooo relaxed! - trouble is all I want to do is go to sleep, oh well my body will soon get used to it. It may be that Anxiety is part of the problem so the raised Ami should help - it is a long time since I have had to be treated for Anxiety. The frequency of attacks seems to be reduced just a little. According to the booking team I should hear from them in around 4 months to invite me to book an appointment in 6 weeks! - light at the end of the tunnel!!

My Doc says I can't take Tramadol as it clashes with one of my drugs - I have Allergic Rhinitis too. I am glad Andy is feeling better now and hope the next attack is a very long way off for him.

It would be really funny if we did meet at Queens Square!!
