Hi everyone,
I'm new. Normally I post in the GERD board, which I believe was also brought on by perimenopause. At least with GERD there were certain things I could do to alleviate the suffering long term, but I only started getting these intense headaches a week ago. In the past seven days, I've had these crawl-in-your-bed-close-your-eyes-don't-talk-to-me-please headaches five days.
Because I am recovering from a GERD attack, I need to be careful about the drugs I take (I can't bear the tought of 24 hr a day reflux on top of these headaches). I don't see spots, or auras, I haven't thrown up, and I don't have sensitivity to light. The pain is mostly between my temples and on the back of my neck where it joins the head. So far Tylenol has worked better than Aleve, but none allow me to deal with the pain effectively as you can imagine.
I accept any advice, but please try not to scare me, I am feeling pretty depressed. Bekster
