Thanks soo much for the concern. It has been really tough. My wife has worked all week, so I have had some time to myself, which has been good and bad. She's off all next week and the following week, so I shouldn't be alone much. We are sorta worried about
the insurance deal, b/c its through her job, but to be completely honest thats the last of my worries. The worst thing about
this week has been the medications by FAR ! This past Sunday I was stricken with a cronic like hiccup, trust me, its was rough, everything made me hiccup ,water, food, swallow air, anything.... I'm blaming it on the meds, because I had taken a starter dose of 1200mg's of Dylantin. Now I take 300mg a day, along with Zantac, and Decadron 4 times a day. My vision is terrible, but does seem to be improving maybe a little.
I'm starting to get comfortable, because there really isn't anything I can do. I just can't get over the fear of not knowing what lifes going to be like when I wake up.
Once again, thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers and I hope that this week goes by very quick.
I will be admitted thursday night, and surgery will be at 7:30 friday morning.
I have told my wife to keep everyone updated if possible.
Thanks again,
Brad Stone
