Migraine

  Hello everyne I'm new to the fourm, but I have had a migraine headache for 15 days now, and have seen my Doctor and he is running test to try to find the problem, but it hurts so much and the light and sound just really hurts. I am going through menapause. I'm 49 years old and I live in Youngstown, Ohio. Has any got any advice on how to clam it down. Thanks. church

hello church i am fairly new here myself if you have no meds to help find a quiet dark place and a bag of ice seems to help me out ...little releif but some.......keep on hanging in there i know its bad and it hurts good luck and i hope you feel better soon jphsr

Hi Church, are your migraines still hitting? I have had them since late Oct. last year. The docs and neuros have ran test and I don't seem to get a right answer. They have all came back negative. What a relief!!!! I have stopped all my meds, since I felt like I was only getting worse. For now I'm only making sure I take plenty of vitamines and water. I have changed my diet and have been running a little more. Until I feel I have been given the right meds I will be back on them.
Hope you feel better and keep a log of your daily food intake. I have found that dairy and process foods kick mine in.
