LB,
The toradol actually seems to help quite a bit if I take it with the Zomig at the start of the h/a, but if I wait to take it later if the pain gets worse, it only helps a little bit - just like most pain meds I guess (and I take the toradol orally). If I take them together, I sometimes get relief from the h/a within 2 hours. I have not tried any other of the meds that were mentioned above, so I couldn't comment on them.
As for the dilaudid - try eating something like crackers when you start to feel nauseous. I know it sounds like the last thing you would want to do, but when it makes me feel sick, I've found that snacking on wheat thins or something makes me feel better - believe it or not! I hope that works, but I'm sorry to hear that it gave you no relief - what was the strenghth? My neuro started me on 2mg and it didn't do anything for me, but 4mg seems to work.
