My son, who is nine years old and in general good health, has been complaining for a week about "wierd feelings in my head, like my brain is being washed"...he says it lasts only about 30 seconds, voices seem to echo, his vision blurs a bit and it feels like water whooshing in his head, mainly in the temple area. It's occurred about 3-4 times a day in various places, he says it tends to happen more when it's noisy or if lots of people are talking. I took him to the doctors, who gave him a thorough examination and said it would be a type of migraine...but doesn't sound like any type of migraine I've heard of, and it's happening daily. He said to keep an eye on it, and go back if it doesn't stop. Any ideas anyone? I have taken him for an eye test too which is clear, and it's not related to him reading or looking at the blackboard either.
