about
2 yrs ago i woke up with my palm facing the cieling and was twisted pretty badly. At the time i recall using my other hand to straighten it. I was fine after it loosened up.
The other night, i had a bladder infection so my eyes were a bit flared as well as some other milder pains and sensations.
I went to bed on my new mattress pad (thanks uppity i love it)..and i woke up with my other arm totally behind my back. To the point that im not sure i could do it in that positon if i tried. I somehow was laying on my arm with my hand up between my shoulder blades and my pinky being squished. I thought the pinky was very painful until.........i tried to get the arm down and discovered that I had to do it in order. Move the elbow (unlock it so to speak) then bring the hand forward, then undo my knotted up pinky that had been being slept on? wow.
Spasticity or rigomortis? Sheesh that hurt and I felt very contorted. I did call my doctor and got antibiotics and from the first dose my eyes and other things began to subside. So the bladder infection really was the culprit.
I did complete the EEG and go back this friday for results, then will be sleep clinic and trying to get all thes things at home (new puppy of lhasa apso type , bathed), my child read a story to and hoping for a good day. Alot of that going around..hope i mean.
I had such vivid nightmares but id been praying about them and they have stopped. Thats a first in a long long time. Its hard to go through this in the day and then do it at night in your dreams as well. With suggestions of giving up in your head as you sleep . I do understand that sleep medicines can cause nightbmares or vivid dreams. Since ive become drowsier Im finding myself NOT taking it and will discuss this with my shrink. I really dont need this much of a cocktail of meds. There are ones that are taking precedence over what i had been on prior to MS of course.
Hope all of you are doing ok, i need to take an hour or so and check up on the board and try to lend some support!
thanks,
kiera
