four years ago, that was my first symptom, that went away after a month. I had double vision in one eye, and walked around for a month with one eye closed. Silly and annoying.. When I went to the eye specialist, he said I had experienced nerve damage, and that it would heal on its own.
This is the part that has always bugged me. Nerve damage- how, and would that not be a major clue to someone in that field of expertise, that something might be going on?
After that of course were other things that were happening, to the tingles to the numbness, etc - and again, and I am only guessing, but when you combine all of these things together, does it not begin to spell out something that needs to be investigated - other than "you have lots of anxiety" I did not know that anxiety could cause nerve damage to the eye...
Sorry, just ranting here, but over the last couple of months I have been really thinking alot of the events that took place, all the clues that were on the table, and still, no one seemed to take the bull by the horns and say...mmmmmm this looks like lupus, or lyme disease, or MS..... I personally just don't get it!
Sorry for the rant,
Gary
