Stumbled on this place just a bit ago. 

Dx of MS 15 years ago.  Doing very well.

Hi Lila,

I am glad you found us.  There are a bunch of us here that check in from time to time but it is usually pretty slow.  Feel free to check out the live chat part of HealingWell.  You will find lots of folks to chat with that are here for all sorts of reasons.  We also have a live MS chat every Monday at 4 pm pacific, 5 pm mountain, 6 pm central and 7 pm eastern time.  I hope you stick around and get to know us.  I am glad to hear that you are doing well. 

To chat just click on the word chat that is on the blue bar to the upper right.  If there is anyone chatting, their names will be listed along with the "room" they are in.  Select that room and join in.  Everyone here is very friendly and would love to meet you.

Hello to you Lila - Glad to hear you are doing well after 15 years dx. Would you care to share what you have been doing that you think may have helped you?

I don't know about anyone else, but I sat watching the Dem Convention last night with my kids and we were all a bit shaken to hear Michelle Obama talk about her dad dying of MS. I've really tried to make MS sound like it's not such a big deal so my kids don't worry and it was just kind of an unexpected jolt and I know there will be repurcussions over the next few weeks. Luckily we have a foster care puppy right now keeping us really occupied cleaning up puddles and saving the furniture...
