Symptoms pointing to MS?

Hi all! I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia almost 2 years ago. With the constant pain and fatigue, I don't really question the diagnosis, but I have had new symptoms in the past 6 months or so that lead me to believe there is something else wrong.

I don't have health insurance, or I probably would have asked my GP for a Neuro consult by now. If you had these symptoms, would you go ahead and see a Neurologist?

Electrical shocks in top of neck, sometimes running down left arm

Nausea (like motion sickness) when on computer, reading, or playing video games

Blurred vision

Eye twitching

Frequent headaches (Migraines), sometimes lasting 3 days

Tingling in left arm, sometimes painful

Strange walk

“Brain fog” – I have something to say, but can’t verbalize it

Sharp pains in my head – usually on right side above ear

Random loss of balance

Extreme sensitivity to light, touch, sound and smell

I don't take any daily meds that could cause any of the symptoms. From all the research I've done online, these symptoms seem more in line with MS than anything else. What do you think?

I can really relate to your story. I was diagnosed last February with Fibro. I have found that the more restful night's sleep I get the less painful it is for me the next day.
I have not yet been to a neuro, although the rheumatologist I saw says she suspects MS. I am still wading through paying all the bills I had from my hysterectomy a year ago that I am putting off piling up any new medical bills.
I experience a lot of the same symptoms as you do. Migraines that last for days ( I thought they would go away once I had a reduction of hormones from the hysterectomy), balance problems, Brain Fog (not only do I lose train of thought and have a hard time verbalizing but I also transpose words or use the completely wrong word. This is sometimes extremely frustrating because I work with the public doing customer service at a bank for a living. Multi-tasking,at times, is impossible.) I have a lot of tingling which started in my back but has now started on my face, arms and legs. My vision gets blurry and I experience bouts of dizziness. The list goes on and on and on. It's hard for me to sort out what is caused by the fibro and what's not. I am just glad that my symptoms are still managable at this time and I can wait to see a neuro and have more testing done when my finances get back in order. When I think back I realize that I have had some of these symptoms since I was in high school and that was thirty years ago! Somehow, over the years, I have just come to except these things as "normal".
I don't post much here but it is great to read all the postings. It gives one a feeling of not being alone. It also makes you realize that it's not "all in your head" like some docs would have you believe. Everyone is really helpful and very supportive.
