Insurance

I was Dxed with MS a little over 3 years ago, I take Copaxone shots. I also have RA, Diabetes, and high blood pressure. I have been out of work for a little over 2 years now and have been denied SS benefits, but know I will be finally approved in the next 6 months or so. I have had RA all my life, but it has been really taking its toll on me the last 4 years. Since being out of work my Cobra insurance timed out. I then got married and my husband carried me on his insurance, but he left me 3 months ago. Ge is going to drop me from his insurance, and I will have no coverage. Even with his insurance I paid 600 dollars every 3 months for my Copaxone. I live in my parents rental house now and all my 401k money has ran out. Will I be able to qualify for Medicaid? I was told i would not because I have a car that is only 3 years old and my mom and sister are making the payments so I can keep it. I also take 22 other prescription drugs, so you can imagine even mu co pays with insurance coverage. Any help would be appreciated.

I think you can get a judge to make your husband carry you on his insurance plan so that you have benefits.
Go talk to a good lawyer and ask. The first consultation should be free if they were any lawyer at all.
