just a question about eye pain

   I was wondering if someone could tell me about their eye pain that they get. Is there any pain over the ear...like a stabbing pain. I have blurry vision, and the pain in my eye feels like its going straight to the back of my head.  I ended up in the ER and they thought I was having a stroke. They did a cat scan and found nothing...all the other usual test..blood, and urine. I'm just curious I have a new dr appt soon just waiting.....Sometimes I think all these bad things..like is it a tumor or something else....oh dear...just keep smiling.....thanks Beannie

I have had Optic Neuritis twice now.  The pain I have is like a headache pain behind my eye.  It hurts more when you move your eye.  It is a constant but dull ache.  It is not sharp or stabbing for me anyway.  It is a pretty miserable pain.
