If my Neurologist suggests doing a spinal tap but i am currently not showing any symptoms will it work? Should i wait until symptoms return before doing a spinal tap?

Good question!!! I had symptoms that were coolling...................I had a lumbar puncture that did show o-bands. I have heard that if you aren't in a flare, o-bands may not show up.

Thank you Gretchen1, I spoke to the Neurologist today and he agreed that if we decide to do this that we should wait for the symptoms to return (if they do)
