limbo

I've been having a bunch of symptoms that could be ms or something else so the neurologist did a lumbar puncture. igg and albumin levels were normal but I have 2 gamma oligoclonal bands. He says could be early ms or other types of inflamation which does not really put me at ease.

I also had on again off again pain thats now devloped into constant pain(over worked muscle type pain) without working out

an oband is short for oligoclonal band in the spinal fluid.The neurologist said that these are common in people with ms. My foot is stiff and cramping and has been for the last two years. I have on and off muscle spasms in my left ear and foot too. After being sick I get swelling of the inner ear.fingernails are soft and my hair is brittle and I have dried out everything.I don't have or ever had optic neuritis but 5 years ago I did have bellspalsy.I had respiratory failure 2 years ago so I'm not sure if all these symptoms are because of that and the meds. given or if I do indeed have ms...the o bands have me thinking so. I also have one hyperintense focus within the frontal lobe that hasn't changed in one years time...no other foci.I go back to the neurologist for evoked potentials the twelth.
