Thank you for asking!
The neurologist said that the spots were in the frontal lobe, not the central area and also did not look like active lesions. She wants to do another MRI in about six months so she will have something to compare. I had never had a brain MRI done before, so there was no way of truly knowing how long the spots have been there!
My walking was worse again at this appointment so she did get to witness that! She said she still has not ruled out MS but cannot diagnose it at this time since she only has the one MRI and it wasn't really conclusive for MS. She also gave me a prescription for Topomax for migraines but I have not taken any of it yet. I'm not convinced that my headaches are migraines because they are not always on the same side of my head or even in the same area of one side!
The most conclusive results I got was that my Vitamin D is SEVERELY low!!! Low is considered from like 25 to 50 or so and mine was only 8!!! So, I am taking a RX for Vitamin D that you only take once per week. Don't know if it is coincidence or not but I have felt so much better just after the first few days of having the 1st pill in me!!! Coincidence you think or truly an effect of getting more Vitamin D? Whatever the case, I know that from now on I am going to keep a check on my levels!!!
So, basically don't know a lot more as far as what is causing my symptoms but I"m thankful to be feeling quite a bit better these past few days and walking MUCH better again!
