tysabri - brain infection PLEASE HELP!

my 24 yr old daughter has been taking tysabri for over a year.  she is has stopped taking tysabri.  December was her last treatment.  She is having awful headaches.  They say she could have a brain infection and is having an MRI in the morning.  What does this mean?  What is a brain infection mean.  What can happen to my daughter?

Things they look for include genetics, age at onset, other conditions the patient has, They look at other medications the patient may be taking as sometime there is a conflict between medications.

If the patient has as a proven brain infection they will look for the antibiotic that is best for this bacteria. The brain has a special protective phenomenon called the "blood brain barrier". They have to locate the antibiotic that can penetrate this "barrier" that is also effective to erase the infection IF THAT IS WHAT SHE HAS.

Therefore a disgnosis has to be made first before they start a treament.
