I'm way down on the coast of MS.  We've had 75 degree temps for the last week or so.  I think that's fixing to change into the 50s.  Burrrrrr!!!

central Wisconsin, here. I was born in northern Illinois, came to Wisconsin for college at age 18, and haven't left. Well, there was an 8 year stint in Georgia..and in fact that was where I was diagnosed with MS, in 1983...but we moved back here in 1985 and I have no intention of ever leaving again! :)

Hi Carla,

I lived in Lakeland, FL for 37 years.  We moved back to Knoxville, TN (where I was born) four years ago.  I must say, I don't miss Florida at all.  Too much heat, humidity, mosquitos, love bugs, cockroaches, etc.

Where are you in Florida?

I am in New Port Richey, FL, north of Tampa.  You are right about the heat and bugs.  I swear those roaches are looking to eat humans they are so big LOL.  I moved from New England in Aug 2004.  I have always loved FL, been visiting since I was 8 all my family is here, but I sure changed my mind fast.  It wasn't so bad till I started to be bothered by heat.  I hate the cold though, ice and snow etc so I know I'll never move back.

Yep, right up the road about 6 miles :-)  or so.   My Mom who lives with my sister is 9 miles from me.  Was just there yesterday.  Anytime you want me to say howdy or drop in to your folks just let me know yeah .

Well, don't leave the coffee pot on, waitin' for me! tongue    I really dislike Florida -- hot, humid, buggy, ....did I mention HOT and HUMID??  Not to mention TRAFFIC!!  What is that highway that leads right past Hudson?  6 lanes of speeding cars, driven by folks who are either gawking at the scenery, or slow-as-molasses, or racing along helter-skelter...  I only visited once when my brother was alive; came again for his funeral.  Don't know about my sister-in-law -- if she dies before me, she might be buried back here in the Midwest from where she came. Otherwise, if she's buried near my brother, then maybe I'd come back for that... 

Anyway - you get the idea. Won't be coming there any time soon...at least I hope not...

Nope. I'll stay here in the country where, if I see 3 cars on the way to town, will worry about traffic.  tongue    And it's cool and low humidity, much of the time.  Down right cold, other times. :-)

Yes, hot and humid, never bothered me until this MS thingy and the bugs want to eat humans I think tongue   hahahaha  I have a pool right outside my backdoor so me and the doggies go swimming.  My schedule is such that I have 3 and a hald days off so I can relax on the deck in the shade of course scool .

My coffee pot is ALWAYS ON yeah .
