Wanted to welcome u to the board and let everyone know u'r here! Sorry to hear about u'r diagnosis today, but really glad u found us. Please feel free to ask any questions or post anything u feel is relevent. This is a great group of people and they're always willing to help where they can. Also, we have live chats on Monday nights at 6:00pm(cst). Hope u can join us and let us get to know u. Again, welcome to the board!

Hang in there.  It can seem overwhelming.  It was for me too when I first learned that I had MS.  I am still a super newby to this disease.  You can't let it get to you.  You are still you.  This disease will seem like it is stealing your identity.  Don't let it.  Fight!!!!!  Life is beautiful, it is incredible.  There is more to life than MS can take from us.  MS will take from you but you will find a way to beat it down.  I do it by laughing everyday and finding love and beauty everday even on the bad days.  I hope you find HOPE and comfort here.  Love and prayers to you.

Welcome Psoupa,

I'm a newby to MS too. I was just diagnosed in Nov of 2006 and just started my Copaxone treatment on Jan 2nd. This is a great website and there are some awesome people on here who really care and are ALWAYS willing to listen. You will go through many emotions during the next few days/weeks, but know that you have support. You are not in this fight alone. Please keep us posted on how you're doing. Remember, no "pitty-parties!!" They only make it worse. When you are feeling bad or alone, just log on. Ventng and sharing your feelings is a huge part of accepting and dealing with this disease. If I can be of any support to you, please just let me know. I'm here for you.

    I just read you were diagnosed with MS.  Please feel free to post anytime!  There are a lot of wonderful people here willing to listen and offer support.  We look forward to getting to know you better :-)
