Grrr Thoroughly ticked

Friday I went to see the neurologist and was not please in the slightest. He didnt take me seriously. Enough to the point he wants me to do a drug screen. Umm hello I dont do drugs and never have. He even told me that if the mri of the brain is good then we have nothing to worry about. Excuse me I am loosing my ability to function and you tell hey if the mri is good your good. Bullcrap and not going back to him. He is not serious about diagnosing me and whats going on. He just addressed the headache issues I have and left it at that. To boot he didnt want to see me back for another month. I dont have a month to wait to figure out something I can not function day to day on my own as it is. I hate to see what would happen if I waitied a month. Tomorrow I am going to try and get a new referral to somewhere else that will take me seriously. Sorry for the vent just thoroughly ticked off.

That SUCKS!!!!  What a jerk.  Go to another doc for sure.  When you get any infor or a dx, send a copy to that idiot.  I am so sorry.  Hang in there and I hope you get some answers real soon.  What you are going through is got to be the worst.  You are sick and the Doctor is not taking you seriously, worse yet he thinks your using??!!  I am mad!!!  Keep fighting for your health.  Good luck and keep us posted.

Geesh!! What a rotten doc he seems to be. Good plan, don't rest with this doc. If u'r gp can't refer u to a new neuro, maybe check with the MS Society and see if there's one affiliated with them in u'r area. Many times a doc who's seen ms and dealt with it can be far more valuable in picking up on the issues u'r having and seeing the nuances associated with ms or other neurological issues. May be worth a shot just to see if anyone's avail in u'r area. May even want to check that before talking to u'r gp and just ask for the doc. Best wishes and please feel free to come vent anytime...we all need to at times and we're here for u!

GRRRR   How humiliating I don’t know where these doctors get of treating people that way. I have herd so many people who have been treat in a similar way and so often us limbo landers get told we have depression but we just don’t know it !!! Hello I think we would know!! I’m sorry you had to deal with that doctor when you have so much going on in your life it would be nice To be taken seriously especially since we are paying them to find out what’s wrong.
