Uprightnbreathin,
I think you're really onto something here; your disability is definitely due to your previous hobbies, particularly running with scissors.
I think for sure my disability is due to my previous hobbies. These included knocking things over, tripping on things, misplacing things, losing things, forgetting things, and my personal favorite, walking into walls. Not to forget losing my balance and walking into people while trying to carry the shopping basket, then hearing my husband say, "Do you know how many people you've walked into since we've been in here?" (Gently trying to remind me that I'm doing it again.)
I haven't been able to pursue these hobbies for quite awhile due to my extreme fatigue, but I still enjoy tripping over my words, and of course walking into a room and completely forgetting why I'm there.
As a kid, I used to do a lot of bike riding. I particularly enjoyed falling off my bike, and getting my hand caught in the spokes of the moving bicycle wheel. That's probably why I developed the slowly neurological disorder, Essential Tremor (postural and intention tremor). It's good because I don't have to move my hand when sprinkling sugar into my coffee -- it moves all on its own.
All joking aside, I really enjoyed reading your post, along with the responses that followed. You have a wonderful sense of humour!
Seriously though, I recently installed Microsoft Money 2006 onto my PC so that I could try to manage my finances better. The only thing is that I seldom have the engery to try to "teach myself" any new computer programs, but I'm still trying! Perhaps try the easy way to have your photos online like I do: When you get your photos processed at the store, get them to put the photos on a CD as well, then all you have to do is insert the disc and they're on your computer!
