Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has ever had any problems with their glands? I am not fully dx but they believe I could have a mild case of MS...although it sure doesnt seem mild to me!!!!

Good to see u again! Well i'm not familiar with any sort of swollen glands as a symptom of ms. Could there be a cold or other (non ms-related) issue going on?? This is the time of year for so much to creep up on us that while battling something so big as ms it'd be hard to distinguish between it and other more 'normal' illnesses. How long have u had this going on?? Might be a good idea to at least just mention this over the phone to u'r doc. Let them make a determination as to whether or not this should be taken up in an office visit. Take good care friend and let us know how u are.

Thanks so much for replying...everytime I feel something different I just wonder "Now is this part of my problem or is this something else?" I went to my regular doc yesterday and she did a complete blood work  shes looking for everything plus she added a few extras. hopefully its not something serious. She said my glands were very swollen in my neck but she felt under my arms for my lymphnodes and said they were not swollen. I was so worried thinking oh great what do I have now lymphoma.  I have had soooo much fatigue, but i have learned to deal with it these past few years. Now with this gland think just thought maybe something else is going on now....thanks so much I will keep ya posted....hanging on by a thread....beannie

Swollen glands indicate some infection in the lymph system..***but an infection in the lymph system does NOT mean lymphoma!!...just an infection. Like mumps. Even a sore throat can sometimes cause the glands to swell. Did she give you any idea about what to do for them?

Swollen glands are not related to having MS.

Thanks Uppity, she is waiting for my blood work to come back, it should be in on Monday or Tuesday morning. I guess we will find out then...I haven't had a cold or sore throat or anything like that..it seems like it just started with being very tired. Then I had some pain in my neck, so I figured I better go check it out..I did wait almost two weeks thinking oh this will pass, but I was wrong. I'm glad I went. As far as Lymphoma, that is me being the hypochondriac that I am, always worried it something serious, believe me I get yelled at by my family all the time.
