Is narcolepsy part of ms?
no
Can u have narcolepsy without ms or vice versa,,by all means yes!
There is no medical proof that there is "any connection between the two" but there is what ms uppity mentiioned before.....
could a lesion be located where scientists' belive narcolepsy begins. Well that would certainly make more sense.
Even though i fully know that just because we have mS that does not mean we CANt have another issue..cancer even..
Ms doesnt insure you against all other diseases..
I have however been able to almost see at basic level how mine is connected for the basic survival of the body (maybe one day they will find this connection..perhaps im wrong)...
Cataplexy which is a temporary collapse of the skeletal system and muscles...actually happens to me in attacks....
When the pain gets too severe...or too much in my body is going on its almost like this fog comes over me that actually feels like someonee gave me some pain medicine and i collapse like they say but its almost like my body is using this to pull through...
might sound silly but im living with it, not just the scientific facts but a real person's observation of how it may be wired (brain has alot more research if they even ever figure it out!)
i'm no longer having the fatigued narc spells unless im in some bad bad way in symptoms.......
not saying it isnt still dangerous to operate machinary and i wont deny it will make me go down while trying to get a word. My yellow doors of coming out from hearing........is like.....(that i could hear but not respond)...are now not makng me aware that i hear them but more like im finding the voices in my head (dream) and then.....waking up ...(so its kinda moved or changed for sure...
Either way this is just a nonscientific thought on somethin that might make sense in my case.
Most will never have it...others have it and do not ever have ms or any association with us what so ever.
