greetings to all. wasn't sure what topic to write under so i just chose this. anyway, i just need help determining what i have. i've been feeling like i'm floating. it's been almost a week since this started. i thought it was from the medicine i was taking for my ulcer (dicycloverine), but i've finished the last tablet a couple of days ago and i still feel like this. i can function fine, but everything feels surreal. i can't really concentrate. like when you're high or when you feel like you're floating after not having slept for 24 hours or so. i've been a cigarette smoker for 9 years, and have only tried weed a couple of times and never since i had my baby who's now 5 years old. just yesterday, i also began to feel tingling in my hands and feet. and my head feels heavy. i sleep almost any time of the day now unlike before.

i was also diagnosed to have sinusitis just the other day.

i feel really weird. and talking about it is really awkward, but i hope someone can help me...at least point me in the right direction as far as finding a solution is concerned. i will get my blood test results tomorrow.

i don't know what could be causing this. i want to snap out of it badly. i'm fine when i'm lying down, but as soon as i stand or start walking, it starts again. can it be from my sinusitis or is it from something else entirely? please help. thanks.

I know EXACTLY how u feel! I've dealt with this before and as recently as just this morn. I'm not sure what causes it, but for me it seems to go away in time. It's like u'r aware that u need to say or do something, but at the same time when u open u'r mouth to speak u don't quite get out the right thing. Have u seen a doc about this?? That's u'r best first step. A neurologist may be the right doc, but first i'd see u'r primary care doc and then if a neuro is needed he/she can refer u and get u'r appt set much sooner than if u try to set it for u'rself. It could be something so easy to repair as an inner ear infection. No one here can dx u, but we will be glad to help guide u and give u all the support and info we can provide. Get to that doc and please come back and let us know what u find out. Take care friend.

I just wanted to second what Rhonda said about going to see your PCP about this. I am certainly no medical professional and this is just a guess, but since you have already been diagnosed with sinusitis, I wonder if the feeling of pressure and fullness from that could be causing some of the odd sensations. Also, if your ears are affected, that can cause a lot of really strange symptoms. Anyway, your PCP really is the best person to ask about this. I hope you feel better soon…that sounds pretty unsettling.
