questioning symptoms

Well i can't say i've felt that, but i don't have ms and am told i DON"T have ms, so maybe i'm not the right person to answer u. I"m sure others will be along soon to give u their input tho. Yes, the ms hug can be felt only on the back as far as i'm aware. It's a tightening of the muscles...spasticity...so it can happen on the front, back or all the way around...as far as i know! How quickly symptoms come and go depends on u'r case of ms if u have ms. Most often in ms u will have some residual symptoms from the last or other prev flares. U may not always have residuals, but u likely will. Any new symptom is something u should report to u'r doc. If it comes and lasts more than 24 hours then u may be able to consider it a flare. Have u talked to u'r doc about any of this?? That'd be my first suggestion. If u have any change in symptoms, esp new symptoms, u should at least call and report this so it's noted on u'r record.
