Please remember that until diagnostic science advances....most doctos won't give you a diagnosis until you have more than one lesion. It has been said by many that you can receive a dx without lesions, BUT that is only after the doctor has exhausted all other possible causes (many illnesses cause lesions ). A diagnosis with lesions can take time....a diagnosis without lesions usually take years. And, even if one gets a diagnosis without lesions, that diagnosis is questioned if lesions don't show up within a year or so. Many doctors are nervous to diagnose without lesions. Instead they will go with "possible or probable MS". That diagnosis usually gets you no treatment, instead you get the "watch and wait" routine.
