first of all how wonderful your able to travel. My internal thermosate is always hot. I live in a beautiful climate in souther california, but the sun and heat really set me off into an inferno of sweat heat and totally uncomfortable. i try to stay out of the sun, but it's kind of hard when the sun is out all the time. when traveling alone in the car i can
open windows and put the air on, but most of the time i'm really hot. nerves, stress, medication and hormones. Not fun.I love to dress in layers, so i'm able to take off clothing until i'm almost comfortable. being prepared with water and wipes too cool myself off helps. also live in flip flops because sneakers make me even hotter. I can relate with your heat waves. but make sure you have cold water to drink, hydrate and wear cotton clothing that allows you to breath. i use to crave the sun, but now have learned to stay in the shade when possible. i hate feeling sweaty, dripping sweat down my forehead, back and neck and arms. my feet get so hot i hear that's where we loose most of our prespration. sooo dress cool, where sunglasses, maybe a hat. and wish for the best. there's nothing like feeling uncomfortable on top of all the rest of the symtems we suffer from our disease. wishing you a happy trip, stay cook, maybe one of those battery operated little fans to fan you off. good luck, enjoy your life wish i could travel, maybe next time choose a cooler climate. pease and love. keep posting many have such great ideas. peace and love, sue
