Hello, My name is John. Full disclosure I do not have MS. I do however have an undiagnosed condition that seems to mirror one of the things that MS folk have and that is a form of thermal deregulation.
I'm 46 and I self-diagnosed then twice verified it with expert Physicians that I have had a Circadian Rhythm Disorder since my sleep patterns solidified in my youth.
As a result my internal body clocks are mis-aligned. My ability to maintain homeostatis is greatly compromised.
While I don't seem to have classic Raynaud's syndrome, I have very similiar discoloration from time to time of the knees (purple) feet (purple) hands (slightly so - not as bad).
To make a long story short I suffer from cognitive and behavioural decline very rapidly when it is too hot or too cold. I bought a Glacier Tek ice vest today online and will be trying that out. It also seems like my brain is not getting enough blood to cool it off. I am looking for ways to cool my brain.
Anyone who has used any products for keeping cool (as it is still summer) I am very interested in hearing from you. Thanks very much in advance.
