Trigeminal Neuralgia

I went for a MRI yesterday. I was a bit worried as I'm claustrophobic but I was fortunate enough to have a good attendant who made me so comfortable. She made me to go inside and outside of the MRI machine a couple of times until I got adjusted and then the team finally started my MRI of the brain for the study of neuralgical cuts. My husband was also with me and he really motivated me to get the MRI done and he kept sitting in the room until finally my MRI was over.They placed a mask on my face, gave a buzzer in my hand which I can press anytime if I'm not comfortable in the machine and gave me a blanket because it was very cold in the room. They asked me not to move my head and stay still as it can effect their stats. I did not move for twenty minutes but after that I pressed the buzzer but luckily by that time, my MRI was completed. It was such a good feeling as if I have defeated my fear of closed places. The team said that no one easily co-operates with them as I have co-operated by not moving my head. I was very happy to listen this. They told me that primarily they cannot see any tumors but the doctor will tell the rest. I went to my neurologist this morning and he told me that there is nothing to worry. You will be alright. I told the doctor that from the last week, my attacks are very frequent. He said he will increase the dose of Oxetol. Finally he recommended me 300mg Oxetol in the morning, 450 mg Oxetol plus Pregablin capsule in the night. He also told me to take oneTramadole SOS. He asked me to go for a walk in the morning, eat healthy food and avoid fried food. He said that I shouuld keep visiting him and should not allow TN to effect my career and quality of life. I'm really feeling positive but at the same time I pray to God that I do not get any further attacks. I love my husband, parents, sister and friends who have always supported me so well. I will definitely overcome and defeat this disease with my will power and faith in God.

My facial currents have stopped lately and I have started feeling better. Pregablin is working wonders for me with the combination of oxetol but it is little sedative. I feel sleepy during the day but that's okay till I do not get facial currents. The other side effect of Pregablin according to me is mood fluctuations. Sometimes happy and sometimes sad. Sometimes positive and sometimes negative but the best part is the moment I take Pregablin at night, within ten minutes, I fall asleep. Life seems to be getting so much better. I have improved from my doctor's treatment. Now I need to work on my dietary habits and I need to take nutritious food at regular intervals.
