Multiple sclerosis awareness

Hi There,
I came to know about Multiple sclerosis few month ago when one of my bosom friends became the victim of this disease. I was not knowing about this disease. When i have heard about it i was considering that it is quite unique disease, But when i came to know that thousand of people are suffering from this disease i deeply shocked.
Kindly instruct me how to care multiple sclerosis patient.
