Anyone know the facts on MS and genetics? Scared as my mum has MS.

Hi there.

My mum has MS and has done for about 20 years. I'm 20 and am scared ill get it too.

I'm following her footsteps as she used to get chronic headaches when she was young and now I'm having contiunal headaches and migraines. Is this related to the MS?

I've been to the doc and she tried to reassure me saying I was onlyy slightly more likely to develop it because of my mum. But I'm still terrified.

Am I more likely to develop it? Are my headaches linked?
