Ok, so last week I had to go to the ER due to severe pain in my left shoulder region and down my arm, and severe hip pain (mostly on right hip) and pain all down my leg. I couldn't lay on my back at all because of the pain in my lower spine and right hip and leg. I had a fever of 100.3, my pain level was 8/10, they ran tons of tests. Not the flu, no bacteria, but about
1/4 of my blood and urine tests came back with either really high or really low numbers on some stuff. I do not know anything about
lab results, I looked up some of this stuff and the common theme was B12 deficiency, anemia, inflammation (Rheumatory arthritis, or other inflammatory diagnosis), liver problems, digestion problems, etc.
Does any of this sound like a MS flare up?
Thank you

I know that Fibromyalgia gives a lot of pain all over. It leaves you very miserable but gives no positive lab results. It can give head and body aches, sleep problems, depression, memory issues and lots of other problems.
But MS usually gives symptoms of headaches, weakness, vision problems, balance issues, extreme fatigue, numbness, depression--if any of these things sound like your symptoms it could be either---but you should go to your primary care doctor. He can check and then recheck and if you feel that it still m/b MS then you should request a Brain Scan/MRI.

Yes, fibro gives a lot of pain all over, as I have it and sure know what I go through.
Per a packet of papers the neuro gave both myself and my other half, whom has relapsing remitting ms it says the vitamins and lack of iron, digestive problems can be related to ms. Unfortunally, there is so many reasons that it can be why, and I am not a doctor so I can not pin point the exact cause for you.
I agree with sueg, you should go to your primary or whomever is handling your ms. A MRI is also a wonderful idea, as to check to see if there is lessions (or more than you had). I do hope you feel better soon! Keep us posted.

Hi there and good morning. The pain does. The high temperature and the lab work results - no.
