I am new to the site and wanted to get some thoughts on neurologists in the Charlotte NC area who would be both Lyme and MS literate.  I was diagnosed and have been treated for Lyme (Chronic Lyme) while living in Connection and subsequently been diagnosed with MS.   I have a history of great treatment but my new insurance will not cover it.  I am looking for a Neurologist in the Charlotte area who is educated in both and understands them both.  Thanks.  You can message me if you like.

I can't help you with a recommendation but I have been through the same as you! Diognoised with chronic neurological lyme 9 years ago and had iv rocephin for a year and then I was in the hospital agin for vision loss and leg paralysis 4 weeks ago and got diognoised with ms yesterday by an ms specialist and I am staring daily interferon injects in the next few days.

I am so upset that it has taken 9 years of crippling symptoms and now they say it's ms. I am reeling from my diognosis yesterday!
