Update

Hello all!  Sorry I haven't been around much, work has been keeping me extremely busy but I wanted to give you all a quick update on how I'm doing.

I had my 6 month MRI in February and no new lesions!   It seems that Rebif is doing what it is suppose to do for me.  

I still have a slight drop foot, tingling/numbness in my right arm and a couple of other typical MS things but it is barely noticable to me anymore. I guess we do get used to things and our body adjusts accordingly. 

My only complaint at the moment, is the extreme fatigue. I feel like I could sleep all day, everyday, even after a great night's sleep.  

I realized the other day, that it has been almost a year, since my "introduction" to MS and wow, what a year it has been.   I'm just glad to finally be in the managing stage and not having to do solumedrol every other month!  My last round of solumedrol in October was brutal!  My veins were not playing nice with me or the nurses.

Thanks Gretchen! It feels good to be managing this disease, finally. I'm hopeful that I'll be able to continue the rebif and keep managing.

I'm so thankful to the neurologist team who was so aggressive with my treatment. I truly believed that helped prevent many of my symptoms from becoming permanent and severe.
