For years NSAIDs have been my saving grace for MS. I can't take them anymore due to gastritis. I've just been taking too many for too long.
My PCP sent me to a pain management specialist and the first drug he tried was Tramadol. It did nothing but make me sleepier than I already am. My last visit he changed it to OxyContin.
I'm not about to take that, I didn't even get it filled. It *feels* like the beginning of the end and besides, I honestly don't feel I need narcotics at this point.
Other than NSAIDs and Tramadol, are there *any* NON narcotic options to MS pain management? (Secondary Progressive)
Thanks!
