Avonex.

At the moment my only M.S. problem is that my balance goes off sometimes. Yesterday was a bad day so I have 3 more bruises to add to my collection. I just wanted to let people know that Avonex does work for some as I've been using it for over 16 yrs and haven't had a bad relapse in all that time.

Hi Longrunner--I've taken Avonex since 1994! At this point in time I decided to quit using it. It does seem to be the most benign of all the other choices. I never feel like I've "relapsed', I just feel in a constant state of something being haywire.
My symptoms may seem 'minimal'-like your balance being "off"-I also have that going on. I feel like I'm being pushed over and either stumble around enough to not end up on the floor, or just end up on the floor!! Maybe it just seems minimal because we're used to it. Does the Avonex work? I guess I'll be finding out!!
But I'm glad you're doing as well as you are!
