I've morphed...and i don't look like a butterfly

I guess i have nothing to complain about compared to so many here, but things have become so weird. I feel like one of those hairless little dogs that sit and jitter all the time...sneezing and jittering...that's me. Yes, allergies, but that's not the morphing i speak of. This darn jerking and jumping...the stupid things i say...when i KNOW i mean to say something else. I told my daughter to turn off the a.c. about four times today...it's almost 100 degrees here...WHY would i do that??? Because i meant to tell her to turn off the light. My face has become very talented lately. It can do jumps and twists that i never knew possible. U remember the bewitched nose twitch??? Well my nose did that today. I'd be proud and impressed if it hadn't shocked me so much! My memory is rotten lately. I guess the up side of that is that i get to experience telling the same story to the same people over and over again...and never know i've been down that road already! U remember that buzzing/vibrating feeling some here speak of? Well i've felt that a few times in my hands and such...but now that's gotten worse. Not so bad that i feel i need to call my doc, but i do wonder if i'm gonna vibrate myself off the couch sometimes. (joking!) So, u add the jittery jerking, vibrating, speaking of stupid stuff and repeating it because i don't remember having already said the stupid stuff...and there u have it...I'VE MORPHED!!!  Geez....i sure hope this is reversible.

I feel your pain. I have all the twitiching and the memory *stuff. Is it reversable... I can't remeber what my doc told me. lol jk. I too enjoy the pleasure of telling the same story over and over AND OVER again to the same people, and NEVER knowing that I said it already! My significant other handles it very well. He sits there and he smiles and I swear it's like he is totally interested in what I have to say... Then he breaks the news, I already told him... I am in shock! I swear he reacted better the second time, even though I have ZERO memory of the first time. Then he tells me this is the third or 4th time I have said the same story... My mother and siblings (outside the home) aren't so kind. They think I am patronizing them. An innocent question or statment can come across badly when repeatedly stated..

Rhonda- YOU have described MY life perfectly as it has been since March or so. I went and saw my neuro- she confirmed it, and I was started on Aricept. If it works are not, it is really hard to say. I think it does, but then can I trust my memory to say that? I dunno.

Without a fresh MRI in hand, my neuro speculated that I am having some brain atrophy caused by the MS lesions. uhm, I try not to think about that... Let me know what your neuro has to say! I like to hear what is being done or said for others!
