Just when I think things are looking up,I get knocked back down.

Hello,

  Just wanting to vent, hope you all don't mind.

Let me just give you all a little run down of the last six months of my life.

 

In March of 2006 the word came that I oficially have MS,ok well I try and accept and move on with life.I start my medication and try to make the best of being a mama and wife and live with MS to the best of my ability.

In may of 2006 I go to ER in very bad pain they do their testing and find that I had an ovarian torsion.That morning I had to have an emergency surgery to remove my right ovary.I healed up from that surgery the surgery very well. 

 

In June of 2006 I ended up very ill again.I end Up at  the ER and they tell me it is a bladder infec and I was admitted.A few days went by and I was getting no better,they decide after many test that came back normal they were going to do exploratory surgery.Well from their they took my appendix and found severe endometriosis.I was out of state at the time so they did not take care of the endometriosis at that time.I get home from being out of state and see my GYN here at home and was scheduled for a complete hysterectomy on July 28.Well about two weeks after my hyst surgery my incision opens and I end up with a staff infection in which it has been about 2 months now and I am seeing a wound care Doc to try and get this thing to heal.

 

Last Friday sept 22 I thought I would go to walmart and get somethings done that I have put off, On the way to walmart I am in an automobile accident, not my fault someone hit me.There is good news to this, I escaped with only being banged up and bruised.

 

 

Sept 28,2006 I am going thru an exacerbation. Just when things look up I get knocked back down yeah I cannot wait until October, just to see what lovely card I get delt then.Thank The Lord for my family and a wonderful friend that listens to me whine and complain on a daily basis. Without them who knows what state of mind I would be in.There are other little things I could have added, But this took me a very long time to write the story of lifewithms........lol

SORRY IF MY STORY IS BORING, BUT IT SURE MADE ME FEEL GOOD TO LAY IT ALL OUT, AND GET IT OFF MY CHEST!!!!!!!!  :-)

Life,

You have been through so very much.  I wish I could give you lots of hugs and encouragement.  This can be a scary and frustrating disease.  Those of us who live with it can support you and truly know  (to some degree) what you are going through.

 

You are a wonderful lady and it is so hard to remember that we are people who have MS and it does not have us. I know it feels like MS devoures our lives and I look forward and press on because my faith allows me to.  Many prayers for you and your family.

Disasters always seem to strike like that...one after another.. I hope things level off for you soon. Doesn't surprise me that you're having a flare -- although the medical community doesn't often accept this, I'm convinced that flares can often come after we've been through a very stressful time. And surgeries sure can put stress on you...and then an accident, too.

I hope you heal uneventfully from all of that, and your MS settles down, too.

O Life, i'm so sorry u've had sooo much to deal with. Things just keep getting thrown at u. I"m glad u put it all in writing and let us know what's been going on with u; i had no idea u'd had so much in such a short time. I agree, stress and surgeries (stress on u'r body) can and i believe does bring on flares. It's no wonder u'r flaring now, but how u got thru all this without it happening sooner is amazing! Please continue the story in Oct and let us know how u are...and i'm praying that chapter two will be full of victories for u. I pray u will be well and feel better very soon and hope u'll lean on us as much and as often as u want. Take really good care Life.

Life, I am so sorry to hear about your string of bad luck -- as if dealing with MS alone weren't bad enough! Uppity is right -- when it rains, it pours! It's great though that you have such a supportive family and friend to help you out.

I truly hope that things settle down for you soon. You are definitely due for some sunshine!

Aww Life, I'm so sorry for all you have had to deal with lately. With your strength and support of friends and family I'm sure you can get through whatever life throws at you. I'm glad you decided to vent and I hope it helped you some. Always here to listen whenever you need. Many hugs to you and the family and get well soon!

Hi Life,
No your story is not boring. You poor thing, so much to cope with one after the other. All of us here understand the frustration you feel and how terrible in the middle of everything to have a hysterectomy! That is too much! Lean on your wonderful family and friends for support kindness sympathy and love. All of us here I'm sure understand how you feel and we all care about what happens to you. Any time you need to vent we are here for you.

Hope your bad luck is over and everything settles down
