Hello Again........

     I'm having weird spasms in my spine.  I wouldn't call them painfull, but yet they are bothersome.  It sends electric vibes down my left leg.  Similar to L'Hermittes.  My left side of my body is also having twitching.  My eye and cheek.  You can actually see it happening.  Then there is my left butt cheek, thigh, calf and foot are also twitching.  It hasn't been happening for 24 hours yet so I have not mentioned it to anyone yet.  Has this ever happened with any of you?  Not yet diagnosed officially yet.  This is a new thing for me to have this happen, and was just wondering.  I really do hate to bother with questions, but I have no one else to talk to, and hope you all don't mind.  BTW, this is happening continueously, it's none stop.  I'd take a baclofen but i'm at work for the next 15 hours and need to be on my toes.  LOL

Geez, i'm sorry! Sounds pretty annoying. I've had spasms (i guess!) almost everywhere..in all the locations u mention, tho not in the pattern u describe. Seems like it's prob one of those things that, while annoying and new, prob isn't much u can do about it unless it becomes painful or interferes wiht u'r functioning. I would call the doc if it continues tho, just to let them know about it and document it for u. Btw...u'r not bothering anyone with questions at all!! That's what we're all here for! Glad to see u here more often and hope this passes for u soon. Take care and let us know how u are.

I had an eye twitch for like three months.  It was really annoying.  I didn't even think to attribute to MS.  I attributed it to stress and life in general.  It was in my left eye and many of my symptoms are left sided.  Interesting.  The good news is it never hurt and it went away on its own.  There were times when the intereval was like every 7 or 8 seconds for hours on end.  So, good luck with that.  With any luck it will go away on its own and not last too long.

Although I have had the L'Hermittes, I did not have any twitching.  Just the weird electric sensation when I put my chin on my chest.  It went away on its own too.  It was not painful, just strange!!!

Hi Bonnie -

Sorry to hear all the goofy stuff you're going through.  Although I have not been officially dx'd yet, I do have the random twitching on my face and body.  Also will have spasm in my chest, back, legs and arms, random places off and on.

Back in January my left eye was twitching, the actual eye, not the lid or surrounding areas, eventhough I get that as well, but my vision would jump everytime I had the twitch, so I knew it was the eye itself.  It lasted about 2 1/2 days and then went away.  Today I've had some twitching on right eye, I'm blind in that eye, so I can't tell if it's the actual eye or surrounding areas, it feels like its the eye, but by the time I run into the bathroom to look in the mirror it's done and then doesn't come back until about an hour so later.  I've given up trying to figure it out.  I think it's called nystagmus, but I've never been able to get it to happen when I'm at the dr's office or the opthamalogists so no official dx on that either! :o)

Hang in there, hopefully you'll have a dx soon or they'll figure out what else could be going on with you.
