Hi all. I just wanted to clarify where I am. Uppitycats thought I was in Los Vegas so in case I wasn't clear, I am in Los Angeles. Anyone know of good programs or contacts out here?

Sorry Angie I live in the south! I'm sure there must be good stuff in that large of an area. Do contact your local ms society and see what they suggest!

Sorry -- I've got Las Vegas on the brain because my husband is there this week..and I'm missing him. :) I think still if you go to the national ms site -- www.nmss.org -- there is a section there where you can fill in your location and click and you'll be directed to the nearest local chapter(s). Los Angeles is big enough..I suspect there are some there. Or you can ask the visiting nurse if she knows of some -- they're often pretty up to date on that.

Hey Angie,

I live in South Orange County. When I got sick, I was referred to the MS clinic at UCLA. I had a really good experience. I intended to go just for the second opinion and then find a doctor closer to home. After meeting with the Doc at UCLA, I have decided to stick with her. Her name is Dr. Callene Momtazee and for me she makes the long drive worth it.
