Hi! I go to the eye doc tomorrow. I've already had ver test done. Have appt. next week with neuoropsycholigist, for my memory loss, ( supposed to take about four hours). In the mean time I am taking the methylprednisolone ( medrol), and lyrica, that my neuro prescribed. I hate having to take steroids, it makes me feel so bad. Even though I havent been diagnoiced yet, I was kind of wondering why the steroids, unless it is for the headaches. Any advice?

Presumably the steroids will reduce inflammation...if it does, it might make the diagnosis clear; if it doesn't, it'll mean that maybe it's not inflammation of the nervous system that is causing your symptoms. You're sure you're not diagnosed, though? It is a bit unusual to prescribe the steriods without a diagnosis.
