Feet feeling hot..............

Hello everyone............

I'm here with another weird symptom, that I can't remember if I've mentioned before or not. ( bad memory too, lol)

Somtimes, like this morning, my feet feel real hot. Somtimes it's just in the right foot (my right side is always the one most affected it seems), but somtimes in both feet as it is now. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas or has experienced this as well?

I am just beginning to feel better from this last flare-up, although yesterday I was feeling like it was moving to my left leg and foot more. Today, still pretty painful to walk, but all in all I believe I'm on the road back to feeling better.

For me, the strangest thing is when I have these flare-up's and it affects only the right side of my body, it's almost exactly the right side of my body affected. Then when it affects the left side as well, well..........oh what fun. (smile)

I would appreciate any input anyone might have about this "hot" feeling in my feet. Thanks so much.

I am so in hopes that the MS Dr. will be able to give me some answers. Until then..........I'm still............

My first symptom was hot, itchy feet! It usually doesn't come back unless I have been on my feet all day long. I have found that if I change the stimuli it helps some. I have tried ice packs, soaking my feet in cool water, and a pair of slippers that have bumps in them. Other times when my feet are just itchy I will put a pair of really fuzzy socks on and that helps.

As I am not dx yet I try whatever I can to comfort the symptoms. I don't take any meds other than naproxin or Ibuprofen. What I have found to be most successful is changing the stimuli. Pressure works well and cool things.

Thanks to everyone for the responses. The input is always so helpful and appreciated. With all the weird symptoms, it's nice to visit with people who truly understand. Because for most people, or at least some people.........it's got to sound strange. The many symptoms, the pattern, how one day you feel great, then it can come with such a vengance. Anyways, thanks everyone.

Yes, I thought I was feeling better, but this evening I'm starting to not feel so well again. ugh! I do believe that whatever it is I have, MS or not, that I'm not recovering as completely as I once did after a flare-up. Oh well, tomorrow will be a new day. I'm thinking sunny thoughts.

The heat thing is strange. It's not constant or at least I don't seem to notice it all the time. It just seems to come and go, almost like I have them on a heating pad or somthing. As far as itching, somtimes I have that as well. But usually it's not at the same time the heat thing is going on.

I need to make my list ( my very long list , LOL ) to have ready to take to the Dr. when I go. The memory thing is really frustrating for me. It's so horrible, so I thought I'd be sure and list all my symptoms and the pattern they seem to usually go in. Maybe that will be of help to the Dr.
